About Paul
A hockey player at heart, Paul still enjoys the thrill of scoring a goal, today’s goal however, isn’t on the ice, it’s in the Ottawa Real Estate Market helping families buy and sell real estate & accumulate wealth. Following a 10-year professional hockey career in North America and Europe as both a player and assistant coach, Paul decided to bring his enthusiasm, dedication and organizational skills to his clients.

In 2004, Paul traded his hockey jersey for a suit and tie and has since built a real estate empire that is nothing short of Stanley Cup material. Since 2007, The Paul Rushforth Team has ranked as the #1 Residential Real Estate Team in Ottawa.

Paul and his team pride themselves on their active community presence participating in and supporting such events as the CHEO BBQ, helping to raise in excess of 45 thousand dollars a year, Tools for School, the United Way Food Drive and Community Action Days, Snowsuit Fund, Orleans Families at Christmas & Thanksgiving, Children At Risk, a local charity supporting children and families with autism and Kids Play Safe. There are not many times that he and his team don’t pull together to do what they can to support the local community on any level needed. In 2012, while looking for new ways to bring awareness to the raising charitable funds and how they could give back, Paul Rushforth Real Estate founded their annual charity golf tournament. In the past few years they have been lucky enough to partner with the Orleans-Cumberland Community Resource Center and are able to raise much needed funds for both the OCCRC and the Sens Foundation. It has been a wildly successful ride raising in excess of 200 thousand dollars in six short years.
It would be an understatement to say that Paul took the real estate market by storm. Since 2004, Paul and his team have helped over 5000 families reach their real estate dreams. He continues to train and consult agents throughout the industry and is considered one of the most forward thinking pioneers in the industry, blazing trails for those around him

About the tournament
The Paul Rushforth Real Estate team is honored to announce that for the eighth consecutive year, we will be hosting our annual Paul Rushforth Charity Golf Tournament. This year we are proud to support two vital local charities: The OCCRC (Orleans Cumberland Community Resource Centre) and OSEG Foundation (Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group).

Since its conception in 2011, the tournament has grown to become one of the most talked about and the must attended golf tournament of the summer here in Ottawa. With the help of our incredible sponsors, donors and participants, we have raised more than $235,000.00 in direct support of youth and adults in our community.

ABOUT The Orléans-Cumberland Community Resource Centre
The Orleans-Cumberland Community Resource Centre has been the leader in assisting the communities of Orléans, Cumberland, Navan, Sarsfield, Vars and Carlsbad Springs for over 30 years with everything from emergency food relief to counseling services for children, families and individuals. The OCCRC has also partnered with over 11 community organizations to help in providing our community with a wide variety of FREE programs & services.

ABOUT OSEG Foundation
The OSEG Foundation gives children the opportunity to play, learn and develop through sports to reach their full potential through structured youth development programs.

With the help of coaches from the Ottawa REDBLACKS, Ottawa 67s and Ottawa Fury FC, the OSEG Foundation develops programs and initiatives that get more kids off the sidelines and into the game.

We have a lot of fun happening during registration so come early to ensure you don't miss out!
Golfing Fun
This is a shot-gun start tournament that will begin at 11am sharp. We hope all golfers will be off the course by 4:30pm.
Evening Reception
Dinner will begin at 6pm.
Our team knows how busy our guest's are so we will ensure to have the evening finished by 8pm.
